For anyone who is interested in knitting “Myth”, you might want to look at the instructions below. I discovered that if you follow the original instructions for the pattern, you will end up with 3 times as many ruffles on one side of the scarf as the other. It turns out that is not the intention. Kidsilk haze is quite difficult to unravel, so I suggest to anyone who is thinking of knitting the pattern to look here. Kathleen Hargreaves kindly sent the correct instructions, which I am posting here until the pattern errata can become generally available:
Myth
Knit Rows 1-12 in accordance with the original pattern..
Rows 13 to 16: As rows 3 to 6.
Row 17: As row 1.
Rows 18 to 21: As rows 3 to 6.
Row 22: As row 2.
Rows 23 to 42: Work as rows 3 to 22 but omitting beads on row 27.
Rows 3 to 42 form the pattern and are repeated throughout.
